On Service-Learning Requirement

Question 1:

What is the Service-Learning Requirement (SLR)? How to fulfil the SLR for graduation?

Answer:

Students under the new 4-year undergraduate degree programmes must complete a 3-credit SL subject for graduation. However, students admitted to the Senior Year places of undergraduate programmes and the new Articulation Degree programmes in 2014-15 can choose to take a 3-credit free elective in lieu of SLR for graduation. Free electives refer to any subjects including CAR subjects.
